Artwork by Femmexy
From the distant realms of the digital universe, an unblinking visage takes shape. Femmexy (he/she/they/it) is the internet-born persona of Tim Wojciechowski, a Polish visual artist now based in London. Beginning their musical journey at 17, Tim learned to produce music using FL Studio, relying solely on experimentation and determination due to their lack of formal training. Their sound is a rich tapestry woven from influences such as industrial, shoegaze, hardstyle, and black metal, also drawing inspiration from the chaotic energy of the online world. This eclectic blend culminated in the release of their debut album Śnić in 2024 via Audio Bambino, which provided an outlet for Tim’s passion for dark and atmospheric music thoroughly explored in the release.
Today, we are glad to host a 34-minute mixtape by Femmexy going along the lines of their latest explorations in dark ambient, noise, and post-club realms. This mix is a vivid representation of their journey, featuring rusty mechanical sounds, primordial chants, and thumping beats, all enveloped in a heavy, haunting atmosphere that invites listeners into a world of shadow and depth. Each element works together to create an unsettling and captivating experience, reflecting the complexity of their artistic vision.

We are a non-profit organization registered in December 2018, operating since late 2015 as a webzine and media website. In early 2017, we started our own event series focused on arts, experimental, and dancefloor-oriented music. We reject every invocation to “the Future” meant as the signifier for capitalistic “progress” and “innovation”, fully embracing the Present instead; we renounce any reckless and ultimately arbitrary division between “high” and “low”, respectable and not respectable, “mind” and “body”; we support and invite musicians, artists, and performers having diverse backgrounds and expressing themselves via variegated artistic practices.
