“Hailing from Venezuela and based in Belgium since 2003, Bear Bones, Lay Low is the moniker Ernesto González uses to explore shifting psychedelic moods in electronic sound. Active since a teenager in the Belgian noise underground, González’s music has evolved from spontaneous bedroom noise/drone jams to colorful synthesizer tunes where library-esque vibes meet entrancing rhythms, dubby use of effects and plenty of freakouts. He has also been part of psychedelic jam band Silvester Anfang / Sylvester Anfang II since 2006 and is involved in numerous projects including Tav Exotic, a beat-driven electronic duo with fellow synth tripper Weird Dust. Having released music in various formats and labels such as Sloow Tapes, Troglosound, Full Of Nothing and KRAAK, Bear Bones, Lay Low takes you on an energetic trip through the most warped zones of the cartoon world hidden in your mind!” [via]

- The opening act was staged by Emiliano Maggi with his moniker Estasy [Soundcloud/Bandcamp]. The performer hides his features behind masks and costumes and reveals his inner self with a bewitched, saintly and pained voice, as you can see looking at the entire videoreport of the night. PAYNOMINDTOUS is a non-profit organization registered in December 2018, operating since late 2015 as a webzine and media website. In early 2017, we started our own event series in Turin, IT focused on arts, experimental, and dancefloor-oriented music. We reject every clumsy invocation to “the Future” meant as the signifier for capitalistic “progress” and “innovation”, fully embracing the Present instead; we renounce any reckless and ultimately arbitrary division between “high” and “low”, respectable and not respectable, “mind” and “body”; we support and invite musicians, artists, and performers having diverse backgrounds and expressing themselves via variegated artistic practices.
Cristina Ruggieri (’93, Alba) completed her studies at Accademia di Belle Arti, Turin. Beside messing around with materials, she’s passionate about the overall listening experience, whether is it live or in her bedroom filled with stuffed animals.
