GUESTMIX#80: HOLIDAY INN

Artwork by Damian Makowski

Our GUESTMIX series reaches today its 80th episode thanks to the contribution of HOLIDAY INN, the moniker for the Warsaw-based, fucked-up blend hero Mateusz Zych who is known for their wild blends and edits, as well as fiery mixes hosted by some of the most important platforms in the community. In their vision of the club, David Guetta meets Nirvana, AKON meets baile funk and hardcore, and T.A.T.U. join with cutting-edge contemporary producers such as Aghnie and GIL (much more else can be found here).

Also member of legetebe, a collective aiming at supporting LGBTQ+ artists from the Central Eastern Europe region by creating a platform for their music, HOLIDAY INN recorded for us a 30 minutes mix collecting hard bangers for an URL dancefloor session that feels just as real as an IRL one. You can stream the mix on our Soundcloud channel and via the player here below. Push the button!

But first, follow HOLIDAY INN Inn on Soundcloud and Instagram.

We are a non-profit organization registered in December 2018, operating since late 2015 as a webzine and media website. In early 2017, we started our own event series focused on arts, experimental, and dancefloor-oriented music. We reject every invocation to “the Future” meant as the signifier for capitalistic “progress” and “innovation”, fully embracing the Present instead; we renounce any reckless and ultimately arbitrary division between “high” and “low”, respectable and not respectable, “mind” and “body”; we support and invite musicians, artists, and performers having diverse backgrounds and expressing themselves via variegated artistic practices.
