PAYNOMINDTOUS.it e Bunker, Torino si uniscono per un’esperienza dancefloor emozionante ed epifanica in cui il corpo sonoro dello spettatore/ascoltatore, per mezzo delle basse frequenze protagoniste, pulserà all’unisono con gli altri realizzandosi parte di un’unica massa vibrante,in cui si concretizzerà il paradosso che prevede si arrivi a prendere coscienza della materialità dell’altro nello stesso tempo in cui ci si dissolve completamente nel suono. Questo #bassweightnight sarà l’ultimo party PAYNOMINDTOUS del 2017, non costringeteci a ricattarvi in cambio della vostra presenza.

    K-Rob aka Robert Kisi, producer e dj rumeno, host del seminale show radio Deep Structure [http://bit.ly/DEEP-STRUCTURE], è uno dei principali esponenti dell’ondata di musica elettronica che coniuga ritmi spezzati a 170bpm, cavalcate techno industriali e profonde pulsioni oscure nota come deep drum and bass.     Barks aka Davide Albiero, classe 1990 dalla provincia di Brescia, crea e seleziona musica elettronica unendo techno industriale, sperimentazione sonora e pesanti bordate di basso. Sin dalle prime uscite, la sua attenzione si è posta sulla tessitura ritmica e la creazione di ambienti, avvalendosi di field recordings e preciso processing frequenziale. “His sound doesn’t refuse the darkness, it doesn’t run from shadows, it doesn’t hide in peacefulness: he observes, breaths, vibrates and echoes the sounds of the earth”.

“When bass wafted from the speaker cabinets, the air became thicker, heavier. Abrupt silences seemed to produce a vacuum effect. Most on the dancefloor just swayed with the shifts in pressure and vibration [..]. The space was almost totally dark, leaving thoughts to focus on sound and sensation. Different tones drew different responses from various parts of my body [..], but the pressure in my chest was almost incessant [..]. Throughout the event, my nostrils fluttered and my vision blurred. I was buoyed, pulled, pummelled. Sped up, slowed down. Too much to grasp at once: just go with the flow [..]. Afterwards, myself and others in our party reported feeling as though we’d been part of a singuIar vibrating mass, all of us modulated by the same energy cycles, each grappling with the paradox of being made intensely aware of one‘s own body at the same time as it seemed to be dissolving into sound.
